At Crawford Enterprises, Inc., innovation begins with accessibility. Our flagship product, the KACE SmartHub, was born out of a personal challenge faced by our founder, Kyle Cox. What started as a solution to make home media more manageable from a wheelchair has grown into a federally guaranteed, money-saving device that empowers families across America.

Leadership

Kyle Cox — CEO & Inventor

Born in Houston, Texas, Kyle spent part of his childhood in Dubai, UAE (1997–2001) before returning to The Woodlands, Texas for high school. He earned his BS in Chemistry from the University of Texas at Arlington and was preparing to pursue a PhD in inorganic (green energy) chemistry at Southern Methodist University. After an injury, his path shifted to chiropractic studies at Parker University—until a serious illness at the start of the pandemic left him in a wheelchair.

From this challenge, Kyle invented the KACE SmartHub, initially as an accessibility solution. Today, it stands as a patented home entertainment device that saves over 100 million Americans $420+ annually, protects consumer rights under the Federal Television Viewer Protection Act of 2019, and provides families with true control over their media and service providers.

Rex Cumming — Strategic Advisor

Rex began his career as Marketing Director for Mark Cuban’s MicroSolutions, later becoming an investor, board member, and CEO dedicated to helping companies, nonprofits, and civic causes succeed. As founder of multiple internet, software, technology, and media ventures, Rex brings decades of entrepreneurial expertise to Crawford Enterprises.

Drake Wu — Manufacturing Partner

A seasoned leader in product development and global supply chain management, Drake has been building and scaling companies internationally for nearly 20 years. He brings extensive resources, technical expertise, and manufacturing partnerships that ensure the KACE SmartHub is built to the highest standards.

Jeff Francis — Firmware/Software Partner

Through ENO8, a Dallas-based tech studio, Jeff and his team empower companies to design and build innovative digital products. With decades of experience, ENO8 develops products people love, going far beyond minimal functionality to deliver meaningful user experiences. Jeff leads the firmware, software, and update strategy for the KACE SmartHub.
